Checks before a hint is given: AI judges the step, then SymPy re-checks the algebra.
These results are for the fine-tuned reader, which was tested on the same dataset's conventions it was trained on. The live app currently reads pages with Gemini.
Details
Who sees student work?
The student and their teacher. To read the work, a photo of the page is sent to the AI model, so students should leave their names off the area in view.
Do teachers stay in charge?
Yes. Teachers see every flag and decide what happens next.
What's in the desk camera kit?
A 3D-printed desk tripod that holds a small Wi-Fi camera, or a phone, about 30 cm above the student's paper, plus a status light the teacher can see. It connects to the school's Wi-Fi and sends photos to Teachify on Google Cloud.
What do schools need before a pilot?
Student logins and a privacy review under FERPA and COPPA, which we complete with each district.
Is there district pricing?
Yes. Districts buying for several schools get volume pricing.
